Conduct financial and physical loss investigations for Walmart in Langford, British Columbia, using investigative reporting and interview skills to mitigate risk.
This Loss Prevention Investigator conducts internal associate investigations and external customer investigations. The work includes organized retail crime cases, interviews, apprehensions, investigative reports, case notes, and leadership communication. It also supports Walmart’s Loss Prevention team strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal investigations involving associates and policy violations
- Investigate large-scale theft and organized retail crime
- Conduct interviews and external apprehensions when required
- Prepare reports, maintain case notes, and communicate findings
- Identify process gaps and perform root cause analysis
Requirements:
- Be 16 years of age or older
- Hold an Investigator License
- Build relationships with store management and law enforcement
- Support training, onboarding, and knowledge transfer activities
- Communicate with investigative and asset protection partners
Apply investigative judgment, accurate documentation, and loss prevention expertise to support Walmart’s Langford operations and risk mitigation efforts.
