At Databricks, you will work within the Field Engineering team, focusing on customer engagement to design robust data architectures. Collaborating closely with Account Executives, you will interact with technical leads from customers' engineering and operations teams. This role involves establishing trust as an advisor while driving the adoption of the Databricks platform across assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop account strategies to increase platform usage
• Establish Databricks Lakehouse architecture as a standard
• Present reference architectures and demo applications
• Consult on big data architectures and data engineering
• Promote Databricks open-source projects in communities
Requirements:
• 5+ years in pre-sales or technical architecture
• Expertise in big data, data warehousing, or machine learning
• Fluent in SQL and proficient in Python, Scala, or Java
• Experience with public cloud providers like AWS or Azure
• Willing to travel up to 30% for customer meetings
