The clinic is supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that includes several physicians, two Family Practice Nurses, one Nurse Practitioner, a part-time Social Worker, and experienced administrative staff. This team-based environment supports comprehensive, patient-centred care across the lifespan. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with additional Saturday hours from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., providing accessible primary care to the surrounding community. Job Description Clare Health Centre is seeking a Family Physician to provide Locum coverage for the following dates: February 16 to 20, 2026 February 23 to 27, 2026 Locum physicians provide coverage for family practices, including inpatient and nursing home care, as well as specialist hospital and office coverage as requested. Compensation includes a minimum daily income guarantee of $1,200 for family physicians ($600 for half-day), with additional earnings if shadow billings exceed this amount. Travel expenses, including kilometrage, per diems, accommodations (up to $300 per night), and airfare (up to $1,500), are reimbursed, along with travel time up to 10 hours per week. Licensing fees for CPSNS are covered, and locum physicians may claim Facility On Call fees under specific conditions.
