Base pay range CA$109,600.00/yr - CA$162,400.00/yr Job Title Senior Corporate | Commercial Litigation Lawyer Our client, a multi-practice, highly-respected Calgary firm, is looking for a Senior Family Lawyer. The ideal candidate will be a mid‑level or senior lawyer with the skills and experience to assist partners on complex files and contribute to the group's long‑term growth. The Candidate Will Meet The Following Criteria Good standing with the Law Society of Alberta A professional demeanor coupled with strong communication skills in English both written and verbal Ability to work independently as well as the desire to be in a team environment Client centered approach Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong interest in growing the scope of our firm and partnership potential Superior organizational and time management skills in order to handle the volume and fast pace of a busy practice Flexible and adaptable to constantly changing needs within the firm in a fast pace environment Superior attention to detail and desire to provide quality work with a high level of accuracy Excellent judgement and the ability to exercise discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive matters High client service orientation with a proven track record of excellent client experience Strong work ethic An active champion of diversity and inclusion Qualifications JD from an FLSC approved school 6+ years of experience in family law matters Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including all facets of discovery and trial Experience with time management systems Proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Outlook Ability to think and act independently and with minimal supervision Outstanding listening, verbal and written communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor Benefits Guaranteed bonus structure Hybrid opportunity once established All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
