Opportunity The UGDSB is seeking a dynamic individual to join our secondary teaching team as a Long-Term Occasional Teacher – Geography – 1 section at Centre Wellington DHS. Position Details Location: Centre Wellington DHSRate Of Pay: $59,300.82 – $119,670.49 per annum; prorated based on FTE; grid rate effective September 1, 2025Effective Date: January 30, 2026 – June 26, 2026Vacancy Status: Existing vacancyReporting to: Principal of the assigned school Responsibilities The Long-Term Occasional Teacher is responsible for providing, high-quality education during the temporary absence of the regular teacher, supporting student achievement and well‑being in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board Policies. Required Qualifications • Intermediate Geography Application Details Submit your application through the UGDSB portal. Two (2) professional supervisory references are required, including at least one from your current Principal or Vice‑Principal. Provide an original Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) dated within six months of start date if you are an external candidate. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
