Mitchell Elementary School, Sparwood, BC Contract Type: Full-time Continuing (1.0 FTE) Salary Range: $63,357 - $112,345 (based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement) Benefits: Competitive benefits package and pension Relocation Expenses: Eligible to receive up to $5,000 for moving expenses incurred related to moving or relocating to School District 5 from another community, province, country, etc. Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay). Requirements Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification. Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting. Must have or be working towards a Master's Degree in Counselling, Psychology in Counselling or Psychology. Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience at the Elementary School level. Must have training and/or experience in trauma-informed practice. Job Summary Counsellor - Elementary Grades K-6 1.0 FTE continuing contract, starting upon completion of the posting process. This is a District position, and will support Frank J.
