Toronto Pearson Airport - Full Time Scooper Detail Apply for the Toronto Pearson Airport - Full Time Scooper Detail role at Paladin Security Group Ltd . Position Details Title: Full Time Scooper Detail Site: Toronto Pearson Airport Averaging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours Hours: Continental Afternoons (1400 - 0200) Payrate: $20.41 an hour Posting Date: December 29th, 2025 External Closing Date: January 6th, 2025 Job Description Monitor the inside and inner curb of terminals for unapproved transportation requests. Be alert and observant, standing or walking for extended periods in all weather conditions. Enforce airport regulations and guidelines regarding scooper activity. Avoid direct contact with scooper; do not engage in confrontation. Inform passengers and advise on GTAA‑authorized taxi or limo stands. Raise awareness about Ground Transportation Services – "Choose the right ride." Focus on interior of terminals, specifically international and domestic gates; may venture towards the inner curb if directed. Enforce "Traffic on Land Side of Airports Regulations" (TLSARs). Issue Parking Infraction Notices (PINs) per training procedures and attend court to give evidence. Anticipate and address areas of vehicular/pedestrian congestion to ensure safe movement. Notify SOCC of suspicious behavior. Provide high level of customer service and collaborate with stakeholders. Record and submit interdictions and interceptions daily. Maintain communications with fellow security guard, client, and Paladin managerial staff. Respond immediately to emergencies and coordinate response per procedures. Perform duties assigned by Security Leadership team and respond to client directions. Observe and record discrepancies, deficiencies, safety hazards and take corrective action. Be courteous and helpful while enforcing policies, procedures, rules and regulations. Perform security duties in accordance with established procedures and applicable laws. Represent Paladin Security, GTAA, and customers to enhance the quality and reputation of Toronto Pearson International Airport. Prerequisites Valid Ontario Security License Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (WSIB‑approved vendor) English fluency (oral and written) Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related field (preferred) Certification in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) – or willingness to obtain via Paladin’s program. Paladin will cover all costs of UOF/MOAB training with a 6‑month commitment.
