Candidates should employ cutting edge approaches in imaging, mechanobiology, and/or systems biology to address questions of tissue morphogenesis during animal development. The successful candidate will be expected to pursue and establish a vigorous, innovative, externally funded, and independent research program. Teaching responsibilities will include contributions to the undergraduate and graduate curricula and supervision of students. Qualifications Ph.D. in Biology or a related field (e.g., Molecular & Cellular Biology, Systems Biology, Synthetic Biology, Developmental Biology, Genome Biology, Genetics, etc.). A minimum of two years of postdoctoral experience. A demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching. A record of publications in top-ranked and field-relevant journals, a strong research statement, conference presentations, evidence of peer-reviewed funding, and strong referees’ endorsements. Teaching dossier including a teaching statement, sample course materials, teaching evaluations, or evidence of superior teaching-related activities; ability to contribute to teaching as a teaching assistant or course instructor, mentorship, or successful workshops/seminars.
