Accreditation Supervisor

Canadian Hearing Services (CHS) has an opening for an Accreditation Supervisor. Reporting to the Director, Hearing Health, Quality & Global Partnerships, the Accreditation Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of accreditation and quality improvement initiatives including preparing the organization for accreditation surveys, maintaining accreditation status, and driving continuous quality improvement across all departments. Additionally, they will manage incidents (including events, complaints, and privacy breaches) to ensure proper follow-up, resolution, and compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
This will be a virtual, full-time contract position working Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
This position will support accreditation initiatives including serving as a liaison between CHS and Accreditation Canada including distributing information and updates regarding accreditation processes and timelines to relevant staff and stakeholders; compile, review, update, and organize all necessary documentation (including policies and procedures, accreditation evidence, and compliance reports) to ensure they meet accreditation standards; and assist in conducting internal self-assessments and audits to identify areas of non-compliance or improvement.
The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary degree/diploma in administration, healthcare administration, public health, social services or a related field, combined with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with accreditation activities (including site surveys), working with client advisory councils and focus groups, plus quality improvement initiatives. Experience in incident management related to events, complaints and privacy breaches is highly desirable.
As well, you are proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and Survey Monkey (or similar survey tools), and are comfortable designing and implementing systems to collect, maintain, and analyze data.
You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) which enable you to interact successfully with various internal and external stakeholders. You can easily adapt to changing needs and circumstances, including keeping up to date on current regulatory guidelines, and can handle a busy environment including managing a varied workload with competing priorities and deadlines.
