Base pay range $65.00/hr - $70.00/hr Job Title: Senior SAP HCM / ECP Canada Payroll Consultant (Remote) Location: Remote (Canada) Experience Required: 10+ years of overall SAP HCM experience with 5+ years in Canada Payroll and Configuration Job Summary We are seeking an experienced SAP HCM / ECP (Employee Central Payroll) Consultant with strong expertise in Canadian Payroll configuration, processing, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience implementing, supporting, and optimizing SAP HCM or SAP SuccessFactors ECP solutions for Canadian clients in a remote setup. Key Responsibilities Configure and support SAP HCM Payroll (Canada) and/or Employee Central Payroll (ECP) modules. Manage end‑to‑end payroll processes, including wage types, deductions, tax calculations, and compliance with CRA regulations. Perform configuration for time management, benefits, and personnel administration in alignment with payroll. Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration between ECP, EC, and SAP HR modules. Support payroll parallel runs, testing, and go‑live activities. Troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues, provide root cause analysis and corrective actions. Stay updated on Canadian payroll legislative changes and ensure system compliance. Prepare and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, and test scripts. Support post‑implementation maintenance and enhancement projects. Partner with business stakeholders and provide training, user support, and knowledge transfer. Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of experience in SAP HCM / ECP functional roles. Minimum 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Canada Payroll configuration and processing. Strong understanding of Canadian tax structure, garnishments, statutory deductions, and year‑end processing (T4, ROE, etc.). Experience with ECP integration with Employee Central (EC) via PTP replication or middleware (CPI). Deep expertise in schema and rule configuration, PCRs, wage types, and payroll area management. Knowledge of Time Evaluation, Absence/Leave Management, and Benefits integration with Payroll. Hands‑on experience in testing, issue resolution, and production support for payroll cycles. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Exposure to SuccessFactors EC + ECP hybrid implementations is a strong plus. Familiarity with SAP HANA, BTP, or CPI integration tools is an advantage.
