In this role, you will work closely with clients to implement treatment programs and promote independence. Focus on utilizing your critical thinking and communication skills to provide high-quality therapy assistance, while also engaging in continual learning and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare clients for their therapy sessions
• Teach and assist with activities of daily living
• Set up and maintain therapeutic equipment
• Apply modalities like heat and ultrasound during sessions
• Document professional and precise client communications
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Assistance
• Valid Driver's License along with reliable transportation
• General knowledge of assistive and mobility equipment
• Strong empathy and judgment in client interactions
• Collaborative skills within interdisciplinary teams
Support client rehabilitation and independence with CBI Home Health in Huron-Perth.
