Organize inventory and create shoppable displays as a Merchandising Associate in a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store. Use retail systems while assisting customers.
This Merchandising Associate manages product organization, placement, expiry dates, and store standards. Daily work includes using PDT and MMS Systems, receiving merchandise, documenting returns, and supporting front store management. Customer service remains central throughout the sales floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize backroom products using Backroom Inventory Management processes
- Use PDT and MMS Systems for daily tasks
- Manage Exit Strategy and Product Return as directed
- Maintain product placement, expiry dates, displays, and store image
- Receive merchandise and complete required documentation
Requirements:
- Some computer and cash register skills
- Planning, judgement, and decision-making abilities
- Strong organization, neatness, and record-keeping ability
- Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders
