We are looking for preferably Spanish, Portuguese, Pilipino Candidates that have more than 1 year previous experience in food service and bakery is an asset, but training is provided.. No students for this position. Location; Jane and Lawrence Timings; 3;30pm - 12am (Machine Operators) and (Bakers) 4:30pm-1am (Packers) and (Line Leaders) 10pm -6am (Packers/Heavy lifting) Monday to Friday Pay rate ; $17.60 Responsibilities; • Skill in handling bread and pastries with care to avoid damage and organize items efficiently and accurately. • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene – Understanding of hygiene standards required in bakeries, such as proper handwashing, correct use of hairnets and gloves, and surface sanitization. • Cleaning and sanitizing – Knowledge of how to clean utensils, trays, equipment, and production areas to maintain hygiene standards and prevent contamination. • Attention to product quality • Care in identifying visual or texture defects in bread and pastries before packaging. • Good motor coordination and hand speed to keep up with the production line, especially during peak demand periods. • English and Portuguese to follow safety instructions, workplace signage, and simple directions from supervisors.
