Job Description The Opportunity Our Nuclear subsector, a key component of WSP’s ERI (Energy, Resources and Industry) sector, supports clients in the nuclear industry. Our team offers a wide range of services, including technical and feasibility studies, project management, detailed design, procurement, site management, quality surveillance, commissioning and asset management. This division is operating at an exciting time as nuclear power and new technology solutions are developing globally, with Canada as a leader in nuclear refurbishments, nuclear new builds, incredible capital projects portfolios and a deep history in nuclear supply chain. WSP is currently seeking an experienced Project Site Manager, Nuclear to join one of our Ontario or New Brunswick offices. Several projects will require travel to Tiverton, Ontario, Toronto Ontario, Saint John, New Brunswick, Pickering and Oshawa, Ontario. This position will be responsible for supporting the project management team on site in delivering nuclear project and program deliverables on complex projects, where nuclear safety culture is of paramount importance. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams on-site (engineering, environmental, project controls). Apply project management best practices aligned with WSP’s PMO standards. Client Relationship & Business Development Act as the primary point of contact for all site-related activities. Identify new business opportunities and support the expansion of WSP’s services. Contribute to proposal development, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations. Team Leadership Lead and motivate on-site teams, fostering collaboration and technical excellence. Support recruitment and talent development to meet site needs. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure adherence to Canadian nuclear industry standards, regulatory requirements, and WSP governance frameworks. Proactively identify and mitigate project and operational risks. What you'll bring to WSP: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Nuclear). 8–10 years of project management experience, in the nuclear or energy sector is an asset. Proven experience managing site operations and client relationships. Strong knowledge of Canadian nuclear regulations and stakeholders. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
