Overview Program Manager (Procurement Operations, Tail Spend) at OpenText. OpenText is a global leader in information management. The role reports to the Senior Director of Procurement Operations and focuses on consolidating vendor services in the long tail of low-dollar spend, using data analytics and industry best practices to improve the S2P function. Responsibilities Coordinate the translation of high-level business objectives into comprehensive transformation roadmaps. Create and maintain program governance frameworks that ensure strategic alignment across multiple initiatives. Drive project scope and objective activities, involve relevant stakeholders, and ensure deliverables are technically feasible within project timeframes. Deliver multiple cross-functional projects and keep stakeholders informed throughout the process. Manage relationships and expectations of vendors and business units. Perform risk management to identify risks and drive decisions on risk acceptance, reduction, or elimination. Provide status updates and escalate to Management as needed. Ensure prioritization and alignment of initiatives so projects meet business and financial goals. Proactively manage changes, ensuring clear understanding of impacts and facilitating decision-making. Qualifications & Experience College/University BA, Business, Supply Chain, Economics or Finance PMP Certification 5 years running projects in Supply Chain improvements 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a global software services/high-tech environment Strong analytical skills linking results to operational performance drivers; able to generate alternatives and minimize financial risks Excellent written and verbal communication and change management skills with all levels internal and external Experience collaborating with global Senior Level Management Solution-oriented mindset; ability to drive a culture of accuracy and efficiency in a changing environment Expert skills in using tools such as AI applications, SAP, Ariba, Concur and Microsoft Office Education & Skills College/University BA, Business, Supply Chain, Economics or Finance PMP Certification 5 years running projects in Supply Chain improvements What You Need to Succeed 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a global software services/high-tech environment Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to collaborate with global leadership and multiple stakeholders Benefits & Inclusion OpenText’s Employment Equity and Diversity Policy promotes an inclusive work environment for everyone, regardless of culture, national origin, race, color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, family status, age, veteran status, disability, religion, or other protected basis.
