Workplace 111 Chabanel Street West, Montreal, QC H2N 1C8, Canada Status Full-time Reporting to the Director of Leasing and Regional Property Manager, the Property Manager is responsible for the overall and daily management of the building where they are based. The manager is tasked with ensuring the property is well-maintained, occupied, and generates optimal financial returns. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate maintenance, repair, and upkeep activities for the properties. Manage external service contracts, including security, cleaning, and renovation work. Ensure safety and compliance standards are met within the properties. Ensure the property is in good repair for current and potential tenants. Conduct property tours with prospective tenants. Establish and manage property budgets, ensuring that income and expenses are tracked and controlled. Oversee rent billing, collections, and expense settlements. Prepare regular financial reports for company management. Manage tenant relations, respond to their requests, and address property-related issues. Provide high-quality customer service and maintain effective communication with tenants. Address compliance issues, disputes, and lease termination requests. Manage lease agreements, service contracts, and maintenance contracts. Work with lawyers, real estate brokers, and other professionals to ensure legal compliance and protect the property owner’s interests. Track contract deadlines and handle necessary renewals. Perform any other related duties as reasonably required. Requirements Degree in Property Management, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in commercial property management. Relevant professional experience in managing commercial real estate properties. In-depth knowledge of laws, regulations, and procedures related to commercial property management. Strong financial management and cost analysis skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Benefits Access to parking.
