Serve customers and handle building materials as a Yard and Warehouse Clerk supporting Saskatoon Co-op’s lumber operations. Operate forklifts and maintain organized work areas.
Reporting to the Lumber and Warehouse Manager, this clerk assists customers, prepares delivery orders, and supports unloading and storage. The work includes forklift operation, saw operation, stock replenishment, safety practices, and communication about inventory concerns. Strong service orientation and lumber knowledge are important.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide courteous information, assistance, and merchandise service
- Prepare customer orders for delivery when required
- Unload and safely store delivered building materials
- Maintain orderly, unobstructed yard and warehouse areas
- Operate forklifts, saws, tools, and equipment safely
Requirements:
- Strong service orientation and motivation
- Knowledge and experience with lumber and building materials
- Ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds occasionally
- Ability to climb ladders and lift constantly
- Availability for mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
Support Saskatoon Co-op customers through dependable service, safe material handling, forklift operation, and organized warehouse practices.
