Be part of our Diagnostic Imaging/Radiology Unit where every moment counts and every image tells a story. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited program of Medical Imaging - Radiography. Registration with OAMRS/CAMRT is preferred; possess valid liability insurance as defined by the CMRITO. Initiative, organizational, and decision-making skills. Strong computer skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage courteously with physicians, patients, and other members of the healthcare team. Ability to cope with a physically demanding workload. Must be available to work all shifts including weekends and stat holidays. Duties and Responsibilities Performs general and special radiography procedures according to the Standards of Practice. Performs Quality Assurance procedures as set by department standards. Ensure adequate level of products and supplies to support daily operations. Archives/retrieves data to/from PACS. Reports equipment deficiencies to the Charge Technologist/Manager. Instructs students during clinical rotation and participates in evaluating student progress. Assists in the orientation and training of new technologists. Demonstrates commitment to high-quality service and continuous improvement. Demonstrates courteous behavior and respectful communication with all co-workers and patients. Participates in continuing education to support professional growth. Maintains knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned; assigned duties in CT. Physical Demands and Accessibility Physical Demands: Strength – lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling. Mobility – standing and walking on hard surfaces; crouching/squatting; bending/stooping, twisting, reaching. Dexterity – handling objects, gripping, fine finger movements.
