About The Job We are looking for an experienced Strategy and Operations Program Manager for our Advertising business. You will assist the GM of the advertising business in key strategic and operational facets of the business including: improving operational readiness and aligning cross‑functional teams to achieve business goals. Key responsibilities include market analysis, goal‑setting, resource allocation, program management, stakeholder alignment, and driving decisions. This role requires a strong background in program management, business strategy, operations, with a blend of analytical skills and business acumen. You need the ability to work in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments, drive programs across teams, build relationships, and influence executives. Because our Ads team has both business and technical teams, previous experience collaborating with both product, engineering, and business stakeholders is a plus. Life360 is building the family ads platform that delivers insights, experiences and outcomes for brands, while offering benefits to our members that make everyday family life better. We are the 13th largest mobile app as measured in DAU (daily active users) – just behind Amazon. Our members open the app on average 5x per day, and we are growing our user base ~30% annually. In our first year of operation, we have laid the product and commercial foundations for brands to use our always‑on location signals and family intelligence to drive results. We have launched flagship products, aimed at marketers that care about IRL (in real life) outcomes such as store visits. We operate with collaborative and contagious startup energy inside an established 18‑year‑old publicly traded company. Joining this team now is a rare opportunity to be part of the growth of an ads business as it scales in the US and internationally. For candidates based in the US, the salary range for this position is $143,000 to $210,000 USD. For candidates based out of Canada, the salary range for this position is $176,500 to $197,000 CAD. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary – therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity. What You’ll Do Lead complex, cross‑functional programs: Manage programs that involve multiple teams and departments from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery against operational standards. Manage Operations: Manage the execution of strategies, oversee workflows, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency. Streamline processes: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness in all facets of business execution. Cross‑functional alignment: Facilitating communication and collaboration between different teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery. Data Analysis: Structure and analyze complex problems using data to develop data‑driven recommendations for business priorities and growth. Stakeholder Management: Align stakeholders across different departments and influence them to achieve desired outcomes. Strategy definition, planning, and driving execution: Define strategic themes, write plans formulated with OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), and overall execute against plans. What We’re Looking For 10+ years of experience in program management or management consulting with a proven track record of successfully leading complex projects. Experience working with scaled advertising business preferred. Ability to lead, motivate, and influence teams and stakeholders. Superior communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical audiences, both verbally and in writing. Ability to think strategically and act as a thought leader for leadership teams. Proficiency in data analysis to identify growth opportunities and drive informed decisions. Strong understanding of business principles and market dynamics. Proven ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Legal. Experience in leading and mentoring teams to achieve objectives. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience, MBA preferred. Proven ability to understand and break down complex, multifaceted programs and projects into manageable pieces, organize cross‑functionally and drive execution. Experience with program management tools and methods. Ability to quickly learn new technologies and follow industry trends. Comfortable with ambiguity and starting from scratch.
