Support shoppers on Walmart Canada’s sales floor in Sussex as a Retail Sales Floor Associate focused on service, product guidance, and merchandise presentation.
As a General Merchandise Associate, you will cover assigned areas and assist Front End coverage when required. You will communicate with associates, maintain customer-ready displays, process recovery merchandise, and help customers choose products. The position includes stocking, product protection, downstocking, modular execution, and safety responsibilities. It offers an opportunity to build skills in customer service or retail while supporting the shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with product selection and merchandise locations
- Communicate with associates to maintain floor coverage
- Move feature merchandise to modular locations
- Process recovery merchandise from store areas
- Apply product protection and complete shelf caps
Requirements:
- Be 16 or older
- Remain available for varied business-needed shifts
- Handle extended standing, bending, and lifting
- Perform repetitive organizing and stocking tasks consistently
- Work accurately through fast-paced, high-volume workloads
