As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to join our team and support our production facility. Position Overview: The Maintenance Supervisor will lead the day-to-day maintenance operations of the plant, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong technical expertise, team leadership, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise, schedule, and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team. Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to ensure plant equipment operates safely and efficiently. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation issues in collaboration with technicians and production teams. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards, as well as company policies and procedures. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts inventory. Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to maintenance staff. Work collaboratively with production supervisors and management to support operational goals. Qualifications: 3-5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a unionized environment, preferably in food manufacturing or a related industry. Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, and/or automation systems. Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). Proven track record of implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Strong commitment to workplace safety and food safety standards. Millwright, Electrician, or related trade certification considered an asset. Why Join Dainty Foods?
