Coach teams on improving observability—instrumentation, logging, metrics, alerting—and ensure operational readiness. Drive stability and performance improvements through proactive monitoring strategies. Testing Quality & Framework Stewardship Drive organization‑wide testing strategy and ensure alignment with approved frameworks and quality expectations. Ensure the right mix of testing approaches (unit, integration, end‑to‑end) across teams. Support teams in adopting automated testing and enforcing testing standards in all new work. Delivery & Execution Leadership Collaborate with product leaders and Technical Program Managers on sequencing, estimation, and technical planning. Ensure dependencies between teams are clearly understood and managed effectively. Identify blockers early and work with teams and leadership to remove obstacles to delivery. Guide teams through ambiguity, change, and risk with clarity and structure. Team Collaboration & Cross‑Functional Influence Act as a central technical point of alignment for multiple teams, improving communication across domains. Provide technical leadership that scales beyond a single product stream, influencing solutions at the organizational level. Foster strong relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring technical decisions support business value. Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing Mentor other Developers and QA. Support skill development through coaching, pairing, and structured knowledge sharing. Promote documentation, knowledge transfer, and redundancy across teams. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; OR equivalent practical experience and training. 7+ years of total software engineering experience. Evidence of continuous learning (e.g., recent certifications, bootcamps, or open‑source contributions). Technical Requirements Expert‑level proficiency in C#, .NET, React, SQL Server, and distributed/cloud architectures. Deep understanding of system‑level design, API strategies, microservices, and domain boundaries. Strong capability in diagnosing complex issues spanning multiple systems. Experience with observability tools, performance tuning, and reliability engineering. Strong grounding in CI/CD, automation, testing frameworks, and DevOps practices. Ability to evaluate and adopt emerging technologies based on business and architectural needs. Non‑Technical Requirements Excellent communication skills; able to explain technical decisions to senior leadership and business stakeholders. Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence without authority. Skilled at navigating ambiguity and providing structure and direction. High level of ownership and accountability; takes responsibility for technical outcomes across teams. Fosters a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and engineering excellence.
