Support BGIS Sustainable Cleaning Solutions through floor care and quality-focused cleaning work. French and English communication skills support service across assigned locations.
This cleaning position maintains designated zones while emphasizing health, safety, quality control, and client expectations. Duties include floor maintenance, washroom cleaning, equipment care, and supply handling. The work also includes following chemical procedures and supporting varied cleaning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep, scrub, vacuum, mop, strip, seal, and polish floors
- Clean washrooms, stairwells, elevator cabs, glass, and carpets
- Transport garbage, machinery, supplies, and cleaning solutions
- Clean and store equipment after use
- Report major building operating system repairs to managers
Requirements:
- Cleaning, housekeeping, or maintenance experience in institutional environments
- Experience using floor machines, cleaning equipment, materials, and solutions
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety requirements, including WHMIS
- Ability to lift, push, pull heavy items, and climb ladders
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and multiple locations
