The Email Marketing & Automation Specialist is responsible for developing and executing data‑driven, dynamic email campaigns and content. You will contribute to creating highly‑targeted and segmented marketing campaigns, lifecycle emails, retention/reactivation programs, and loyalty building communications. This is a full‑time, permanent, individual contributor role that reports to one of our Cofounders. Please Note: This position will be based fully in‑office 5 days per week at Circuit Stream Office: 1011 1st Street SW, Calgary AB. Key Responsibilities Write strategic, high‑performing marketing emails tailored to different audience segments and lifecycle stages. Build, launch, and monitor transactional, nurturing, and campaign‑based email workflows. Optimize email performance using A/B testing, data analysis, and clear insights on open rates, clicks, and conversions. Maintain all lead segmentation and ensure list health pre‑ and post‑conversion. Report regularly on email and CRM performance to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams. Help manage forms across our websites and partner pages to ensure accurate field mapping across contact and deal properties. Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CRM workflows and automation logic to ensure clean data, accurate reporting, and timely communication. Support the sales team with templates, sequences, and technical troubleshooting within the CRM. Drive retention and revenue through lifecycle marketing strategies, including reactivation and loyalty campaigns. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to run campaign emails tied to product launches and scheduled promotions. Act as the internal owner of our CRM—proactively identifying issues, implementing fixes, and improving automation logic. Work closely with our Sr. Media Buyer to support and convert a seven‑figure sales pipeline through email and CRM tactics. Stay on top of trends in email marketing, CRM tools, and performance optimization techniques. Help with other marketing projects when needed. Role Requirements 3-5 years in email marketing, CRM automation, or lifecycle marketing. Deep knowledge of HubSpot (or similar CRM/email platform), including workflows, lists, and integrations. Strong copywriting skills, with an ability to blend storytelling and strategy. Experience working closely with the sales team to support pipeline growth via qualified meetings, applications, conversions and other performance metrics. Comfort working with data, segmentation logic, and campaign reporting dashboards. Bachelor's Degree Business specializing in Marketing, or similar combination of education and experience. What’s in it for you Compensation in line with skills and experience: this is an Individual Contributor intermediate role with salary range \$65,000 to \$70,000, plus a variable compensation plan on top for revenue generation.
