Base pay range $180,000.00/yr - $260,000.00/yr Full-Stack Engineer at Alexander Chapman We’re representing a fast-growing, Y Combinator-backed startup that’s transforming the freight brokerage and logistics industry using cutting‑edge AI automation. We’re actively looking for a skilled Full‑Stack Engineer to join our core product team. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be working directly with the founding engineers, building and scaling features that power the AI platform. What You’ll Be Doing: Designing and building scalable, performant web applications with modern frontend and backend technologies Developing backend APIs and services that support AI‑powered functionalities Collaborating cross‑functionally to deliver impactful product features Optimizing application performance and reliability Participating in code reviews and maintaining strong engineering standards Engaging with users for feedback to improve the product continuously Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, TailwindCSS CI/CD, Git, Terraform Who We’re Looking For: 3+ years of professional full‑stack development experience Strong expertise in React and Python (Flask or FastAPI preferred) Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS is a plus) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced startup environment with strong communication skills Prior startup experience is beneficial but not mandatory Why This Role?
