Unload shipping containers and organize merchandise as a General Laborer in Saint John, New Brunswick, using pallet jacks and safe lifting practices. Day shifts run Monday to Friday, with on-call scheduling.
This part-time warehouse assignment suits reliable, physically fit individuals and students available for daytime work. Shifts occur two to three days weekly between Monday and Friday. The work focuses on unloading items, moving materials, organizing designated areas, and completing general warehouse duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload items manually from shipping containers
- Place merchandise in designated areas or onto skids
- Use pallet jacks to move and put away materials
- Break down cardboard and dispose of packaging materials
- Maintain clean, organized work areas
Requirements:
- Comfort with repetitive lifting and heavy item handling
- Ability to lift approximately 50 to 70 pounds
- Assistance required when lifting heavier items
- Ability to work safely and cooperatively
- Steel toe or safety shoes or boots required
