Investment Principal / Associate This full‑time role, located in Alberta or Manitoba, involves sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, conducting comprehensive due diligence, developing relationships with startups and industry stakeholders, designing investment strategies, managing deal negotiations, supporting portfolio companies with scaling strategies, and contributing to financial and impact‑driven outcomes. Report writing and quarterly reporting are essential. Responsibilities Sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities Conducting due diligence and developing investment strategies Managing deal negotiations and supporting portfolio companies with scaling strategies Collaborating with internal and external partners to achieve financial and impact‑driven outcomes Report writing and quarterly reporting Qualifications Experience in investment evaluation, financial modeling, and market analysis Proven expertise in building relationships with startups, businesses, and stakeholders Strong skills in negotiations, portfolio management, and scaling early‑stage companies Broad understanding of cleantech, sustainability, and climate action technologies Demonstrated ability to identify innovative solutions and manage complex projects Excellent communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills Strong leadership ability and experience in a managerial role Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related fields; MBA or advanced degree preferred Prior experience in venture capital, engineering, or startup environments is an asset Seniority Level – Mid‑Senior Employment type – Full‑time #J-18808-Ljbffr
