Position Details 09th December, 2025 Position: Traffic Engineer Candidate type: Permanent working rights (PR or citizen only) Location: Perth, WA Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: 60K-70K Reports To: Senior Traffic Engineer About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Traffic Engineer to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop core skills in traffic engineering while working closely with an experienced Senior Traffic Engineer. Key Responsibilities Prepare Traffic Engineering Assessment Reports: Develop clear, accurate, and well-structured traffic engineering reports, including Traffic Impact Assessments, access reviews, swept-path analysis summaries, parking assessments, and intersection performance evaluations. Respond to Stakeholder Queries: Assist in addressing technical queries from clients, councils, government agencies, and other stakeholders in a professional and timely manner. Provide clear explanations of modelling results, design recommendations, and assessment outcomes. Stakeholder Coordination and Communication: Communicate effectively—both in writing and verbally—with internal teams, clients, and approval authorities. Support meetings by preparing documentation, diagrams, and concise technical explanations. Skills & Attributes No prior experience is required; however, the ideal candidate will demonstrate: Strong communication skills (both written and verbal). High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work. Excellent organisational and time-management abilities. A positive work ethic and willingness to learn and grow within the field of traffic engineering. Ability to work collaboratively and eventually operate independently. Qualifications Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering from Australian based University. Why Join Us?
