POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Under the supervision of the National Chief of Recreation, the leisure agent, who aims to be bilingual, will be responsible for preparing documents, taking notes during the various meetings, and participating in coordination corporate projects and the writing/dissemination of communications between the different leisure stakeholders. The ideal person will work in conjunction with the various leisure managers in private retirement residences and the Leisure and Marketing teams at head office.


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain links with various resources in order to diversify activities, speakers and artists.
  • Ensure certain follow-ups with our various partners.
  • Guarantee the high quality of deliverables.
  • Manage and respond to the recreation department's email inbox, respond to requests, follow up on them and answer questions from recreation managers.
  • Manage project invoicing.
  • Manage the community of leisure managers on the department's private group
  • Manage the various corporate competitions from communication to establishing winners.
  • Participate in the coordination of major events, be available to go to the locations a few times a year.
  • Prepare the department's various presentations, using the Microsoft suite.
  • Search for activities, conferences, concerts on the web and schedule them on the internal TV in the residences
  • Updating and monitoring the database of the hundred or so leisure managers, or even their introduction.
  • Write emails for corporate events to solicit the participation of all residences across Canada.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Hold a college diploma in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Bilingual French and English spoken and written (25% of tasks in English).
  • Optimal knowledge of the Microsoft suite.
  • Ability to work in a stimulating and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sense of organization and priority management.
  • Frank communication, team player, resourceful and autonomous.
  • Leisure experience would be an asset.
  • Attentive to details and visual precision.
