ServiceNow GRC Developer/Administrator

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and certified ServiceNow professional to develop, configure, and support ServiceNow’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing and supporting GRC modules and workflows, along with strong expertise in general ServiceNow development and administration. ServiceNow Admin and/or Developer certification is required. Key Responsibilities Development & Configuration: Design, develop, and implement GRC applications and modules in ServiceNow, including Policy & Compliance, Risk Management, Audit Management, and Vendor Risk. Customize and configure GRC workflows, forms, dashboards, and notifications based on business requirements. Integrate GRC applications with other modules and external tools (e.g., CMDB, ITSM, third-party risk platforms). Develop and maintain custom scripts, UI policies, client/server scripts, business rules, script includes, and data policies. Support & Maintenance Provide ongoing support and maintenance for GRC modules and associated integrations. Troubleshoot and resolve GRC-related incidents, problems, and service requests. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solutions aligned with business goals. Ensure application and platform upgrades are tested and deployed with minimal disruption. Administration Perform standard ServiceNow administration tasks such as user and group management, access control, module configuration, and platform monitoring. Ensure system security and compliance with data privacy policies and audit standards. Manage update sets and ensure code promotion processes follow best practices. Work with the ServiceNow platform team to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability. Collaboration & Documentation Collaborate with internal risk, compliance, audit, and IT teams to understand and implement GRC requirements. Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, process flows, and user guides. Provide knowledge transfer and training to support teams or end-users as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow platform development and administration. 2+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow GRC module implementation and support. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – mandatory. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) - mandatory. GRC Implementation Specialist – preferred. Strong scripting knowledge: JavaScript, Glide API, and REST/SOAP integrations. Understanding of GRC frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOX, etc.) is a plus. Excellent analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Nice To Have Experience with ServiceNow IRM (Integrated Risk Management). Exposure to ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) module. Experience with performance analytics and reporting.
