Position Summary We are looking for a Principal Salesforce Architect, reporting to the Director – Enterprise Architecture, to work with the IT team, product teams, and senior executives to drive the design of our enterprise domain taxonomy. You will champion business and technology alignment, building an enterprise taxonomy framework that underpins domain roadmaps and technology transformation. The ideal candidate will have breadth and depth of experience in developing business relationships and ensuring technology alignment. Key Responsibilities Execute the strategic vision for the Enterprise Architecture practice under leadership guidance. Collaborate with domain architects, engineers, and leaders to develop technical standards, reference architectures, design patterns, and architecture decision frameworks guiding cross-platform solutions. Develop and manage a technical strategy and coordinate adoption; architect enterprise guidance for standard processes and best practices in system design, integrations, development, and runtime. Manage the architecture review process by creating validation checklists, reviewing artifacts, and providing domain-specific guidance to drive alignment. Translate business requirements into well-architected Salesforce solutions. Design and develop end-to-end solutions for complex business problems. Apply architectural and engineering concepts to meet scalability, security, reliability, maintainability, and other operational requirements. Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation. Develop a technical strategy for Salesforce platform encompassing architecture, development, integration, and maintenance. Research and develop PoCs on emerging technologies and toolkits; recommend robust and cost-effective technologies. Enforce and promote design patterns and standard processes across the enterprise. Contribute to target state solution architectures, assessments, and roadmaps. Partner with data and integration architects to support data management and integration strategies. Collaborate with solution architects to ensure alignment with the overall enterprise architecture. Work with business leaders to create capability models aligning technology with business needs. Foster a learning culture within the enterprise architecture discipline. Required Experience & Skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience as a senior domain architect or senior enterprise architect. Experience as a Principal Salesforce Architect in a global organization, with Salesforce Connected Apps. Proven experience designing and delivering complex B2B SaaS Salesforce solutions. Led at least two large-scale Product-to-Cash (CPQ/RCA) implementations with 5+ years of Salesforce architecture across quoting, contracting, fulfilment, billing, revenue, and customer support. Familiarity with enterprise apps such as Gong, DocuSign CLM, Kantata, Gainsight, Showpad, Qualtrics, or similar is a plus. Experience planning and leading architecture delivery for large-scale transformation programs. Proven track record leading large Salesforce initiatives from concept to delivery. Deep understanding of Salesforce ecosystems including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Community Cloud, or related platforms. Strong leadership and communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Salesforce certifications such as CTA, Application Architect, or System Architect are preferred. 5 years of hands-on enterprise architecture framework experience (TOGAF, C4, Archimate, etc.). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience in data, application or solution architecture, integration, risk management, and technology standards. Solid understanding of security architecture principles. Proven experience in business capability modeling and translating business needs into technology solutions. Experience with Generative AI code assistants and awareness of latest AI model capabilities is a plus. Salary $153,000 - $170,000 a year At PointClickCare, base salary is part of total rewards. The CAD base salary range for this position is $153,000-$170,000 plus bonus and benefits. Salaries are determined by job level, skills, and location.
