About the Company Our client is a fast‑growing real‑estate technology company (subscription‑based/SaaS model) looking for an experienced Part‑Time Financial Consultant to help us realign and strengthen our accounting function during a critical transition phase. What We’re Looking For We need a consultant who is: Based in Ontario and fully knowledgeable about Ontario provincial taxes, compliance, and financial regulations Experienced working with SaaS / subscription‑based businesses Skilled in bookkeeping, AP/AR management, balance sheet preparation, month‑end closing, and financial controls Comfortable auditing and cleaning up existing records, identifying gaps, and setting clear processes Able to advise on long‑term accounting structure (outsourcing vs. internal setup) Strong in financial planning, forecasting, and cashflow management Able to work independently, provide clear recommendations, and align our finance direction with best practices Available for part‑time consulting (hours can be mutually agreed based on workload) Role Responsibilities Review and clean up current books, AP/AR, payroll data, and reconciliations Identify compliance gaps and ensure alignment with Ontario accounting and tax laws Build or improve accounting workflows, financial controls, and reporting structure Assess the current outsourced accounting setup and recommend an optimal long‑term model Support with SaaS revenue tracking, subscription reporting, metrics, and financial planning Provide guidance on budgeting, forecasting, and financial health Work closely with leadership to set a strategic financial direction About the Engagement Part‑time / consulting (temporary with potential extension) Fully remote , but must be based in Ontario for compliance and provincial tax expertise Flexible hours Immediate start preferred Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Part‑time Job Function Finance and Sales Industries Outsourcing and Offshoring Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
