Branch Manager Advisor As a Branch Manager Advisor you fulfill a critical hybrid role in the branch with 40‑50% of your time spent providing advice to clients as a Financial Advisor and 50‑60% in a Branch leadership role. As a local market leader, you are responsible for the retail performance within a branch focusing on business growth, new client acquisition, and deepening client relationships. You will leverage your expertise across everyday banking, investments, and credit to deliver a robust advice experience for both personal and business needs. Responsibilities Manage a team that delivers an exceptional client experience by leading with advice and leveraging the full capability of RBC to provide appropriate solutions. Champion digital enablement by educating clients to self‑serve, serving through digital where possible, and encouraging interaction in their channel of choice. Lead from the front, actively engaging clients inside and outside the branch, providing complex advice solutions, and modelling key behaviours with an emphasis on teamwork to meet client needs. Remain locally connected and active in the community, effectively motivating your team and RBC Partners to proactively connect with clients and Centres of Influence. Strategically manage capacity across the Advisor team, leveraging skills and capabilities, mobility, and traffic flow analysis to drive client contacts. Role‑model, coach, and champion the Leadership Model, consistently demonstrating empathy, kindness, and understanding of employees, colleagues, and clients. Promote inclusion, create conditions where team members and clients’ uniqueness is valued, and foster belonging and full potential for all. Develop and coach your team to improve proficiency and capability, driving performance in the current role and enabling future career progression. Qualifications Must‑have Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course). In Canada (excluding Quebec), completed DFSA designation offered through the Canadian Securities Institute. Completed Branch Compliance Officer course offered by the Canadian Securities Institute, or ability to write the exam within 4 months of start date. Entrepreneurial business acquisition mindset. Nice‑to‑have Experience in both business and personal banking. Previous people‑management role.
