Overview At Serve Robotics, we’re reimagining how things move in cities. Our personable sidewalk robot is our vision for the future. It’s designed to take deliveries away from congested streets, make deliveries available to more people, and benefit local businesses. The Serve fleet has been delighting merchants, customers, and pedestrians along the way in Los Angeles while doing commercial deliveries. We’re looking for talented individuals who will grow robotic deliveries from surprising novelty to efficient ubiquity. Base pay range $130,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr What you will do Serve’s Data and ML platform plays a pivotal role in the continuous development of our autonomy stack. ML Engineers use it to collect large datasets for data annotation, model training and benchmarking. Autonomy engineers utilize it to search, discover and access data for debugging edge cases and validating new autonomy features. As part of the team you will be working on building developer facing applications that will help us collect petabytes of data from our fleet of robots. You will help improve our annotation platform that allows us to annotate ground truth for millions of frames of data. Deploy and maintain our fleet data collection, robot data management, replay and visualization systems Optimize performance of our various backend services and databases Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to set up cloud resources and deployments. Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development and release process Ensure all our applications and services are highly available and secure Create dashboards and define metrics to evaluate our application usability Setup application monitoring and alerting Collaborate with engineers in improving the UI/UX, collect ongoing feedback to drive product roadmap Qualifications BS in computer science or equivalent hands-on experience 3+ years of experience building full stack applications 3+ years of experience with NoSQL and SQL Databases 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS) 3+ years of experience with modern frontend frameworks (React/Vue) Extensive experience with Python backend libraries/frameworks Strong SQL/Python coding skills and experience Deep understanding of UI/UX best practices What makes you stand out Experience in the AV (Autonomous Vehicles) or robotics industries Experience deploying and optimizing large-scale cloud databases Experience building developer-facing applications Experience or education in big data and ML Previous startup/entrepreneurship experience Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Technology, Information and Internet Note: This description reflects the current responsibilities and qualifications for the role and may be subject to modification during the interview process. #J-18808-Ljbffr
