Physician, Family Location: Richmond Hill, ON L4C 3C9 Salary: $300,000 to $550,000 per year (negotiated) Hours: 35 to 50 hours per week (flexible) Employment type: Full time (term or contract to be determined) Work location: On site Start date: As soon as possible Responsibilities Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health Prescribe and administer medications and treatments Advise patients on health care Report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases to government authorities Act as a patient advocate Coordinate or manage primary patient care Provide acute care management Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues Qualifications Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry Licensure: Provincial or territorial authorities Experience: Experience is an asset Languages: English (required); asset languages include Afrikaans, Arabic, Mandarin, Hindi, Dutch/Flemish, Russian, Filipino/Pilipino, Polish, Ukrainian, Chinese Personal suitability: Accurate; client focus; excellent oral communication; excellent written communication; flexibility; judgement; organised; reliability; values and ethics Benefits Health: Dental plan; disability benefits; health care plan; vision care benefits Financial: Group insurance benefits; Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) Other: Free parking; on-site amenities; team building opportunities Who can apply for this job?
