Your Role in Our Journey We’re hiring a Software Developer to help build and scale Jane’s Booking platform, shaping the end‑to‑end patient scheduling experience for millions of people each month. You’ll build robust, observable services that scale, working product‑design‑engineering teams to delight customers. AI is part of our development; you’ll responsibly integrate AI tools to remove friction and speed routine work. The Impact You Could Have Help build a team that delights from the first experience and advances into new markets. Participate in code reviews, production deploys, and team activities to support continuous improvement. Produce high‑quality, well‑tested code that ensures a reliable experience for users. Help identify technical debt or challenges, and collaborate on building scalable, maintainable solutions. Advocate best practices and continuously improve code quality, test coverage, and workflows. Contribute to full‑stack web development using Ruby on Rails and React. Write unit and integration tests using RSpec and Cucumber. Build new features and support existing ones in a large codebase. Collaborate with Designers, Product Managers, and Support people. Participate in deployment, code reviews, requirements grooming, and on‑call duties. The Experience We Feel We Need A university degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field plus approximately 3+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience. A commitment to continuous learning and improvement, growing into an expert in one or more technical domains. Ability to independently take on clearly defined projects with minimal guidance, demonstrating proactive problem‑solving. Experience working with predefined tasks or projects, helping senior teammates define new tasks and collaborating as an engaged team player. Integrate approved AI tools into daily workflows and critically review AI outputs for quality, correctness, security, and confidentiality. Compensation & Benefits We commit to paying fairly and transparently. Annual salary range: $98,400 to $147,600 . Most new hires start at the accomplished level: $116,900 .
