We are seeking a talented and resourceful software developer who thrives in collaborative and dynamic environments. You are a driven individual, naturally curious, and comfortable working in fast-paced settings.


This position is within our client's engineering team, where you will focus on analysis, design, and implementation as part of a high-performing group.


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and support web applications using a Python-based framework.

- Write high-quality, efficient, and well-structured code.

- Collaborate closely with team members to design, implement, and launch new features.

- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing applications.

- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment.

- Debug and unit test code effectively before handing it over to QA.

- Enhance the performance and scalability of applications.

- Provide exceptional technical support to internal teams and assist in resolving client issues.

- Review and produce technical and functional design documents.


Qualifications:

- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Over 5 years of experience in Python development .

- Proficient in Python and frameworks like Flask .

- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Strong understanding of REST API design.

- Experience with databases like Postgres.

- Ability to read and understand code in other languages, reverse engineering if necessary.

- Solid problem-solving skills and a sharp analytical mindset.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Familiarity with the insurance sector is a plus.
