Job Information Rôle : Conseiller juridique d'entreprise / Gestionnaire des risques Emplacement : Montréal Relevant du : PDG Type de poste : À temps plein Job Summary Nous recherchons un conseiller juridique d'entreprise et gestionnaire des risques pragmatique et orienté vers les affaires (avec au moins 5 ans d'expérience en droit commercial), qui comprend le domaine logiciel, la confidentialité des données, la durabilité, la cybersécurité, etc., qui collaborera avec la direction pour anticiper les défis, identifier les opportunités et avoir un impact positif sur l'efficacité opérationnelle, la gestion des risques et les opérations mondiales. We are seeking a pragmatic, business-minded Corporate Counsel and Risk Manager (with at least 5 years of experience in commercial law) who understands the software space, data privacy, sustainability, cybersecurity, etc. who will partner with senior management to anticipate challenges, identify opportunities and have a positive impact on operational efficiency, risk mitigation and global operations. This includes leading commercial contract negotiations, contracts and internal policies management and supporting customer engagements. Key Responsibilities Strategic & Corporate Advisory Serve as a trusted legal and business advisor to global business leadership teams; Provide practical, efficient, solution-oriented legal advice; Partner with finance and executive teams on corporate matters. Contracting & Negotiations Lead commercial contract negotiations and support customer engagements including license, non-disclosure, employment and other agreements using a collaborative approach; Provide concise user-friendly legal language while ensuring terms reflect the company’s values; Manage requests from both customers and internal stakeholders and ensure alignment with company values, policies, or risk posture. Regulatory & Compliance Respond to customer requests for sustainability, cybersecurity or similar due diligence; Collaborate with internal experts to ensure legal and regulatory compliance; Oversee internal policy development and compliance with applicable law and contracts. Qualifications Member of the Quebec Bar. At least 5 years of experience in commercial law – in an international B2B, software/SaaS context. Bilingualism (English and French). Ability to work as part of a team, promoting a collaborative approach. Experience in compliance and/or sustainability is a plus. Oral and/or written interactions with customers, suppliers or stakeholders based inside and outside Quebec.
