Overview IT consultant responsible for designing, developing, and implementing information‑systems business solutions, including strategy, policy, and security management. Responsibilities Confer with clients to identify requirements. Design, develop and implement information systems business solutions. Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management and service delivery. Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software and hardware. Develop policies, procedures and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches. Implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle. Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products and information systems. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of Android, Business Intelligence, Cloud, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Visual Studio, PowerBuilder, Shell script, Virtualization, Xcode, MAC, Unix, JavaOS, device drivers, networking software and hardware, networking security, extranets, internet, servers, file and security software, multimedia, presentation, mail server, communication, 3D graphics, image editing, project management, programming, HTML editing, web service design, business diagrams, desktop publishing, mapping, data visualization, database, programming languages (Java, CSS, D3, Objective‑C, Ruby), software development, spreadsheets, MS Office, MS Windows. Willingness to travel regularly (travel expenses not covered) and relocate (relocation costs not covered). Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment, meeting tight deadlines and performing repetitive, physically demanding tasks. Attention to detail, color‑discrimination, physically capable of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling for extended periods.
