Base pay range CA$90,000.00/yr - CA$120,000.00/yr Position: Senior Environmental EngineerLocation: OttawaPosting Type: Open Vacancy Are you an experienced environmental professional looking to take on challenging projects and make a real impact? Our client is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer / Geoscientist to lead complex initiatives and provide expert guidance on environmental compliance and remediation programs. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage environmental projects, including Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments and remediation plans. Act as a Qualified Person under Ontario Regulation 153/04 for site assessments and excess soil management. Prepare technical reports, designs, and specifications while ensuring compliance with environmental legislation. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions for environmental challenges. Lead project teams, manage budgets, and maintain strong client relationships. Support permitting processes and develop mitigation strategies aligned with regulatory requirements. What We're Looking For Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) in Ontario; OIQ registration is an asset. Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering (with environmental focus), or related discipline. At least 8 years of consulting experience in environmental engineering. Strong technical expertise in field data collection, sampling, and monitoring. Proven ability to manage budgets, prepare cost estimates, and oversee project billing. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in both office and field settings. Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle. Bilingual (English/French) is a strong asset.
