Support school-aged children at C.M. Finch Elementary School through engaging activities, snack preparation, and organized before and after school care.
Reporting to Administrative Officer(s) and the Program Coordinator, this attendant provides care for school-aged children. The position includes storytelling, songs, crafts, room preparation, and equipment maintenance. Applicants must be at least 19 because of licensing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage children through stories, songs, and crafts
- Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for activities
- Maintain toys and applicable equipment
- Assist with housekeeping, photocopying, typing, and filing
- Use adaptive technology, communication devices, computers, and software
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent education
- At least 19 years old
- Food Safe Certificate
- Ability to work independently and set priorities
- Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records Search required before starting
Bring childcare experience, interpersonal skills, and activity-planning abilities to support children at C.M. Finch Elementary School.
