Ensures all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. The Senior Client Relationship Manager (SCRM) is a product generalist who possesses a good understanding of financial products and services and focuses on cross-selling and retention of existing business customers. You will be responsible for identifying prospects in target markets, developing proposed sales pipelines, conducting prospect sales calls and qualifying opportunities based on customer information and a high level of due diligence. You will manage a customer portfolio of moderate to higher complexity, with business development activities that target clients with credit strengths between $5 MM and $25 MM and annual sales between $15 MM and $75 MM. This role is specific to the Core segment of Canadian Business Banking. The SCRM is responsible for ensuring effective relationship management, conducting sales planning and fulfilling the execution of service for the existing customer base. You are also responsible for analysis and completion of credit applications with dedicated support. Accountabilities Develop and implementक़marketing strategy to maximize business development opportunities for sustainable growth. Develop sales plans for prospects and existing customers. Identify prospects/referrals from internal and external networks. Analyze prospect lists and prioritize business development opportunities based on market data and customer analytics. Determine pricing for existing customer relationships and proposed financings, ensuring a satisfactory level of profitability. Partner with internal resources for non‑credit related products. Refer customers and prospects to the appropriate Canadian Business Banking segment and partners. Direct selling of credit and non‑credit commercial products to prospects and customers. Maintain an ongoing sales pipeline and calling program . Identify and involve key bank resources and stakeholders to further business interests. Follow up with prospects/referrals on unsuccessful opportunities. Update client or contact information accurately and timely. Build and maintain a market profile by planning and completing relationship activities that generate sales opportunities and/or provide value to clients. Build an awareness of local market and general economic conditions. Meet with business leaders and other-sites of influence. Participate in local professional and community events and associations to expand network of contacts. Liaise with bank product specialists to stay abreast of new products and services, fulfilling client needs. Promote a strong relationship with the Client Service Associate (CSA). Use miejsc knowledge of the bank’s streamlined products and services, including simplified credit application, standardized pricing and underwriting. Actively seek customer feedback on bank products and services and deliver customer service. Liaise with the Shared Services Business Service Centre (BSC) for fulfilment, compliance monitoring and all service activities. Partner with internal product specialists on the selling of non‑credit products and ensure customer needs are met. Suggest actions to improve customer satisfaction and process improvements through client feedback. Complete credit reviews in a timely and sufficiently detailed fashion. Authorize, renew or decline customer requests within standard bank policies and authorized limits. Prepare and ensure documentation is properly prepared. Ensurefleet accounts adhere to the conditions of authorization. Identify and resolve deviations from authorization conditions. Identify early problem loans and ensure accuracy of risk ratings. Recommend structure, monitoring and risk rating changes to Global Risk Management as issues are identified. Complete onboarding diligence to ensure alignment with the bank’s risk tolerance. Own KYC requirements. Coordinate efforts with the CSA to ensure satisfactory completion of client profile documentation. Ensure KYC documentation is on file. Take ownership of activities and behaviours that align with the operating model. Support a culture of diversity and other initiatives aligned with the bank's strategy. Education / Experience Undergraduate degree in business or economics or equivalent work experience. Other training requirements as determined by the Bank from time to time. Skills and Work Experience Previous work experience in commercial banking of at least 2–5 years preferred. Very strong sales and closing skills. Strong networking ability. Very strong negotiation skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to articulate views effectively. Strong relationship management skills. Solid credit skills. Strong knowledge of the bank’s commercial lending and deposit products and services, and customer profitability model. Ability to conduct due diligence on moderate to higher complexity deals. Knowledge of relationship building and teamwork. Strong knowledge of the commercial banking marketplace in Canada and of key industries in the assigned market area; knowledge of segment, strategies and structure. Good knowledge of onboarding, Know‑Your‑Customer and Anti‑Money‑Laundering processes. PC skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other commercial systems. Key competencies: Customer focus, communication, results focus, building strategic relationships, strategic influencing and self‑awarenessitivo. Working Conditions Standard office‑based environment; non‑standard hours are a common occurrence. Travel within the assigned territory required – a vehicle is required.
