Job Description:


We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Treasury Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. This role is essential to support our Treasury department, particularly in cashflow forecasting and peer research & benchmarking, during a maternity leave. Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain a 52-week cash flow projection.
  • Perform daily cash forecasting and funding operations.
  • Create and analyze financial models, including Net Present Value (NPV) modeling for new projects.
  • Support business planning and forecasting activities.
  • Conduct comprehensive peer benchmarking and ratio analysis.
  • Understand and apply regulatory aspects relevant to benchmarking.
  • Assist in managing the company’s debt financing activities, including the commercial paper program.
  • Monitor and analyze the debt market and its implications for treasury operations.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to develop and maintain financial models and reports.
  • Automate processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 3-7 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, banking, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with cash flow forecasting and financial modeling (including NPV modeling).
  • Experience with peer benchmarking and ratio analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create complex financial models and automate processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Progress towards CFA designation is highly preferred.
  • CPA or other relevant certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with debt instruments, particularly commercial paper programs, is a plus.
  • Understanding of regulatory aspects affecting peer benchmarking and financial analysis.
