As our new iOS Application Developer on the Extended Reality (XR) Experiences team, you'll build key experiences, primarily integrating audio and video calls into Google's XR projects for iOS. You'll need to be passionate about user-centric applications with experience in Three-Dimensional (3D) spatial presentation, hardware, camera, and sensor functionalities. Google's XR team is at the forefront of the next major leap – the convergence of AI and XR. This is more than just new devices – it's about reimagining how we interact with the world around us. Compensation For United States Applicants: The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Write product or system development code. Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies. Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency). Triage and resolve system issues while updating technical documentation and educational content to reflect product changes and user feedback.
