Job Description Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard – Corporate in Mississauga, Ontario. Job Title: Security Guard – Corporate Location: Mississauga, ON Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour Shifts: Continental 1900 – 1700 Requirements: 5‑Year residency due to site clearance purposes Responsibilities Access Control: Monitor and manage access points to the facility, using access control systems and verifying identification. Surveillance: Operate and monitor security systems, such as CCTV, to identify potential threats or suspicious activity. Patrolling: Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both internal and external, to ensure a safe environment for employees and assets. Incident Response: Respond to alarms, security incidents, issues, and emergencies according to established protocols and procedures. Reporting: Document all security‑related incidents, observations, and daily activities through detailed reports. Policy Enforcement: Ensure compliance with CIBC’s security standards, policies, and procedures, as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Liaison: Maintain communication with internal stakeholders, management, and, if necessary, law enforcement agencies. Customer Service: Interact with employees, clients, and guests in a professional and helpful manner. Requirements 1–2 years of experience working in a security sector. Valid Ontario Security License. At least 18 years old. Eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours per week. High‑school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience. Familiarity with operating technology and wireless communication systems at client‑specific sites. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. First Aid and CPR certification.
