We are looking for individuals with strong drive, commitment to cultivating their skills and grow within our company Job Summary Responsible for the safe maintenance, repair, installation, modification of all warehouse equipment. The main job objective is to ensure maximum uptime of machinery and equipment. It is considered an asset to have knowledge of electrical code and drawings. Compensation and Benefits Competitive wage. Working Conditions This is a stable position in a shop environment within a fully automated facility. This job requires working in a refrigerated and freezer environment. Overtime may be required on occasion. You are required to work in a rotating shift environment. Job Duties Assist in the install, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of mechanical systems including large industrial refrigeration systems. Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and equipment. Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair proprietary automation & robotic equipment. Maintain and operate industrial power generation equipment. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, electrical code specifications and schematics to effectively troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment. Perform preventative maintenance through inspection of electrical systems, equipment, and components. Direct and train other workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment or fixtures including automation and robotic equipment. Install or rework data, communication, and security & life safety systems. To adhere to Preventative Maintenance Plan schedule. Work on other electrical projects as required. Qualifications Electrician certification (309A or 442A). Understanding of AC and DC frequency drives would be as asset. Working knowledge of PLC’s (Allen Bradley) would be an asset. Working knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Code. Two (2) to five (5) years’ experience in the electrical field. Refrigeration experience would be an asset. Be willing to travel other CCS facilities as required. Have a working knowledge of data/comm, security wiring and systems.
