Support school nutrition services at St. Louis School and Mother Teresa School through food preparation, delivery, and safe handling. This 20-hour weekly assignment serves participating schools.
The Nutrition School Worker assists the Nutrition Coordinator and Nutrition Support Worker with the School Nutrition Program. Duties include following Alberta Education grant guidelines, preparing and serving food, transporting deliveries, and maintaining clean spaces. The worker collaborates with school nutrition staff and supports positive student behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow AB Education School Nutrition Program Grant Guidelines
- Prepare and handle food using safe practices
- Assist Nutrition Coordinator with program implementation
- Transport, deliver, and serve food at participating schools
- Complete cleaning requirements for school nutrition spaces
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Food and beverage industry experience
- Food Safe Certification
- Class 5 Driver's License and private vehicle
- Required criminal and intervention record checks
