Our client is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Demolition Worker to join their growing team. As a Demolition Worker, you will play a crucial role in preparing building sites for new construction or renovations by carefully and safely demolishing existing structures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work as part of a team to assess and plan the demolition process

- Use appropriate tools and equipment to dismantle, break down and remove structures

- Operate heavy machinery, such as excavators and bulldozers, to assist in the demolition process

- Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment

- Properly dispose of debris and materials from the demolition site

- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines

- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

- Perform basic maintenance and repair of tools and equipment

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or demolition work

- Must have a valid driver's license

- Knowledge of and experience operating heavy machinery is a plus

- Ability to interpret and follow blueprints and plans

- Strong physical endurance and able to carry and lift heavy objects

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills

- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

- Willingness to undergo safety training and adhere to safety regulations

- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and in confined spaces
