As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy-Duty Off-Road Mechanic to join our maintenance team. Position Overview The Heavy-Duty Off-Road Mechanic will be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of heavy-duty off-road equipment. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and reliability. Key Responsibilities Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty off-road equipment including but not limited to haul trucks, loaders, graders, dozers, and excavators. Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Conduct preventative maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards. Complete field service calls and emergency repairs in challenging off-road environments as required. Maintain accurate and detailed service records. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, procedures, and company policies. Collaborate with operators, supervisors, and other team members to minimize equipment downtime. Qualifications & Experience Journeyperson/Red Seal Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician certification. Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining and repairing off-road or heavy construction equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated expertise in hydraulic and diesel systems. Experience using diagnostic software and tools. Valid driver’s license (Class 5 as required). Clean Driver Abstract Clean criminal record Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to safety.
