Serve Burnaby customers as a part time Optical Retail Associate at Specsavers, using customer service and frame styling skills. Weekend shifts are included.
Specsavers provides full training for this retail optical role, including pre-screening procedures. You will guide customers through frames, contact lenses, products, and services. The position emphasizes informed choices, accurate orders, and lasting customer relationships. Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset, not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers warmly in the store
- Recommend eyecare solutions based on customer needs
- Guide frame selection for lenses and personal style
- Perform retinal imaging, pressure checks, and visual fields
- Process glasses and contact lens orders accurately
Requirements:
- Availability for evenings and weekends
- Friendly, outgoing, and confident demeanor
- Enthusiasm for learning frames, lenses, and pre-testing
- Reliability and flexibility for retail hours
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
